This is Ben. I figured he should make the family blog if the penis angel made it!

This is a picture of a card that Ella made for her Aunt Karina for her birthday. It is a picture of an angel! Maybe having a new baby brother has created some pictures in her mind that she just can't forget! We don't know what this is the angel of??? maybe fertility?

16 lbs!
He has aquired many nicknames over the last few months....

Ella and Nora call him all sorts of names-
Chubs, Chubbers, Bud, Budman, O man, O-zie, Goober, Goobie (that is what I have been calling him lately!) and many more.... what is his real name again?

the little monster! she may look cute but she is Trouble with a capital T! Potty training has been oh so fun! Someday she'll get it but it might not be anytime soon. The other day we found Nora brushing her teeth with liquid soap. SHe also coated her whole upper body with Vaseline and decided to put baby powder all over her friend. Maybe she'll be a chemist???

2 months old. Owen smiles all the time and is such a happy little guy.

Ella has found a new snuggle partner. Owen is a lucky boy to have so many people to hold and cuddle him.

Fun Aunt Jessie with all the little nieces and one little nephew. He looks like he's not too happy being the only guy!
Fun uncle Ryan is not much for posing for pictures even though he is a magnet for the kids. They climb all over Ryan and Jessie and love to take rides on the back of the power chairs. Ryan loves to be swarmed with little people... especially Nora who is potty training. We keep telling her Don't go pee-pee on Ryan. He looks thrilled with the lot he has been handed as the possible location for the next accident.

The girls in their Easter dresses! They looked so cute but everyone said that Nora didn't look like herself because she was all dressed up and was not a mess as she usually is! I guess being girly is something we have to really work at because none of us are naturals in this family! Oh well tom-boys have more fun anyway!

Owen weighs 9 lbs 13 oz!

He gained over a pound in a week! We now refer to him as the tank!

We thought that the babies would be days apart but we didn't think it would be 26 days apart! I think Jeanie was wondering why she had to share her daddy with this new kid!

meeting his big sisters for the first time! They are so excited to have a new baby! They barely notice that mommy is at the hospital... they have just come to see their brother! They love holding him and have been covering him in kisses!

These are Owens first pictures! February 27!
His head is all red because the doctor had to keep scratching it while I was in labor to help stimulate him. I guess it helped his heart rate because he was in stress! In the end we had to do an emergency c-section. The poor little guy was all wrapped up in his cord and was completely stuck! Thank God for modern medicine! Owen decided he couldn't give up his favorite spot inside mommy without a fight. He decided to flip over to breech right as the doctor was reaching in to pull him out. I guess he really didn't want to come out! Mommy had to have transfusions after all of his antics because his flip caused some pretty serious dammage to the incision. I think this one is going to give me some gray hair for sure!
